Andre Badenhorst
Behind the lens and ahead of his time, Andre Badenhorst is an eagle-eyed, streetwise visionary rock stargazer. A conceptual acrobat who always shoots to thrill. He’s old school, but in vogue. Laidback, friendly, and always up for shenanigans, Andre has established himself as one of the most sought after photographers in South Africa.
What has set Andre apart from the rest, is his ability to translate his unique visual narrative, conceptual vision, and rock and roll vibe into a vast array of genres, applications, and photographic disciplines, seamlessly transitioning between live and studio environments. It is exactly this creative versatility and visual nous that has led to him becoming a mainstay in the South African rock and roll community.
His passion for rock and his rare ability to hit the right notes when it comes to capturing the pure adrenaline and raw attitude of the music in both studio and live settings, have established him as the photographer of choice for some of SA’s biggest acts including Fokofpolisiekar, Francois Van Coke, Jack Parow, Die Heuwels Fantasties, The Parlotones and Silvablack.
Andre’s keen eye for detail, authentic approach to portraiture and conceptual photography, along with his knack for capturing pure, true and honest emotions has also led him to work on a myriad of commercial shoots and video productions. His work has been featured in highly respected publications showcasing big names like Gerard Rudolf, Chantel Dartnall, Neels van Jaarsveld, and Neil Sandilands.
His impressive body of work subsequently resulted in him being chosen to become a prestigious Fujifilm ambassador in 2016 – an achievement which brings him great pride.

I’m Craig,
I was born here, and then grew up (I think). Along the way I went to a great school where I learnt about important things. I am a simple guy who loves taking photographs and spending time with my family. I have lived in different cities and worked for different famous brands. Then I ended up back here. Photography will undoubtedly drive me insane someday. I don’t photograph subjects. I photograph the way they make me feel, it’s a bit strange I know, but it’s the best way to describe what I do. If this is all you ever know about me, it’s enough to say you know me very well.
Godox has been part of my journey for as far back as I want to remember and has been there through thick and thin and I’m sure will be with me as this crazy journey continues.
KREATE PHOTOGRAPHY ACADEMY has allowed me to grow as an educator and mentor, with clients in SA, USA and the UK. This part of my business has become an integral part of my day to day activities.
I have recently been appointed as an educator and creator at BREED ACADEMY, owned by the world renowned fashion photographer, Melissa Rodwell form the USA.

Lauren Oliver
Lauren is a fashion editorial style photographer, based in Durban, South Africa.
She has been a photographer for 14 years, with 7 international editorial publications and 4 international cover images. She is also a brand ambassador for international company GODOX.
Inspired by the natural landscape and colour pallet, Lauren creates bold, colourful and emotive photographs. Lauren was always fascinated with creating images and has a degree in film-making which naturally took her on a creative journey and broadened her fascination with imagery to incorporate photography. Her photography captures a naturalism with a focus on high fashion posing and natural emotion
She is a passionate about high-fashion photography and posing. She shoots on location and uses the scenery to tell an editorial story.
She is hugely involved in creating each and every editorial and loves being involved in the entire creative process. She creates her own editorial concepts and does her own fashion styling, location scouting, model briefs and high-end re-touching.
With 14 years in the photographic industry my work is a culmination of a natural creative talent and technical finesse. She is committed to producing top quality and professional work and makes sure that her clients expectations are met.
She has had 6 international editorial publications and 3 front covers, thus far.

My name is Pieter Pieters and Founder & Pro Photographer for Pieter Pieters Photography. Based in Klerksdorp South Africa but fortunate enough to travel nationally & internationally for big Brands and Companies.

Sherwin Pather
“I am a Durban based fashion and wedding photographer with a love for Portraiture. Happily married to the Women of my dreams and a father to two amazing kids. By profession I am a mechanical draughtsman, by passion I am a creative.
Between 2004 and 2008 I worked as a videographer for a prominent Durban wedding photographer, I may have captured no less than 50 weddings in that time but video was never my passion, with photography I fell in love with it at the onset. In 2017 I purchased my first DSLR. I started by taking pictures of my daughter and wife small family gatherings and events. Before long a family member hired me to capture a 1st birthday party and I started shooting more birthday parties as a side-line shortly after I started “Designer Image Photography”. It wasn’t long until I found I had a love for shaping light. I was a strobist by nature and Godox was the brand I naturally found myself leaning towards; from the triggers to the speedlights and softboxes I was hooked. There was no other brand for me. I started playing around with ocf and after much study and an amazing wedding styled lighting workshop I found myself leaning towards wedding and fashion Portraiture.
My photography journey has been amazing. I have met people from all walks of life, worked with amazing creatives, serviced some of the biggest brands on the planet. I have mentored many and myself have been mentored by some of the best photographers in SA. I am excited for every step that this journey has to offer me and for that I am eternally grateful to have experienced this.”

Zanri Lloyd
Zanri from Silk Creative Collective specializes in Product Photography and Stop Motion videos. Her approach is to help build up SME’s, by providing them with strong visual imagery to use for advertising mainly on social media platforms and websites.
Product photography enabled her to combine her love for photography and styling with her visual communication degree in Art Direction.
