Godox ML100R Overview

Due to the popularity of the ML100 bi-colour version, Godox has launched the ML100R RGB Portable LED Light, offering complete RGB colour control. This little LED is compact enough to hold in your hand or slip into your bag. The ML100R, is the ideal pocket light to take for on the go mobility. Featuring the same12.19 x 11 x 4.6 cm size as the ML100Bi, the RGB version has flexible power possibilities allowing for anywhere, from interior to exterior setups, the ideal light for on-the-go shoots. The fixture comes with an innovative 15° lens reflector that increases its output while offering the option of being interchangeable with an 36° one. In addition to bi-colour punch and full RGB output, the ML100R also offers 14 selectable lighting effects to create the exact mood you desire. Its RGB capability lends more creativity to your scenes.
The ML100R has a wider adjustable CCT with full RGB output from 1800 to 10,000K, and it features 0 to 100% dimming. With a high rating of 95 for both CRI and TLCI standards, the fixture delivers exceptional colour accuracy. Even in its compact and portable form factor, the bare light has an illuminance of 2360 lux at 1m (5600K), which expands to an impressive 12,900 lux using the included 15° lens reflector.
Supporting HSI adjustments, the ML100R allows you to precisely tune into a vast number of colour possibilities. Intensity is adjustable from 0 to 100% along four dimming curves: linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic. Green-to-magenta shift also ensures more precision when handling your settings.
The ML100R’s 15° lens reflector enhances contrast and image clarity by reducing light scattering. Two lens options are available, the included 15° and an optional 36°. Unlike standard reflectors, the ML100R ones are much smaller adding convenience. The lenses improve performance and flexibility of the ML100R by modifying its beam spread. This 36° Lens Reflector from Godox is a valuable light shaper that expands the capabilities of your ML100Bi LED fixture. This modifier has a 36° beam angle and features a Godox mount, allowing you to replace the 15° lens reflector to modify its beam spread.
The RGB version of the ML100 gives you 14 effect options, including RGB cycle, party, flash, lightning, cloudy, broken bulb, TV, candle, fire, fireworks, explosion, welding, police car, and SOS preset effects.
You can easily manage the light settings locally on the fixture or wirelessly at 30m using your smartphone and the Godox Light app.
Suitable for a variety of lighting setups, the ML100R runs on AC power thanks to the included adapter and cord. Not limited to AC power, the light also offers four portable battery solutions, such as V-mount/NP-F batteries, a proprietary Godox BG02 battery grip, or even applying your own power bank.
Taking the ML60IIBi’s portable design to new levels with the AK-B01 Battery Handgrip. This handheld accessory accepts two separately available NP-F batteries that will run the fixture in the field, so you can operate in any location regardless of AC power availability.

The unit features a 1/4″-20 hole at its bottom to give you the option of mounting the ML100R on a variety of optional tripods and accessories.
The light is compatible with an array of optional accessories thanks to its proprietary Godox mount. The ML100R brings you extra modifiers to really shape the light to your vision. This includes optional softboxes in different shapes, a convenient air soft tube, a collapsible Fresnel, and a mini projection attachment with various lens options. A Bowens adapter is also available separately to expand your lighting control and creative possibilities.
This compact white-body light is lightweight at approximately 465g’s compact and comes with an included storage bag.
