Godox MF12 Overview

Designed for close-up photography, the MF12 Macro Flash 2-Light Kit from Godox makes macro photography easy. The flash heads enable you to shoot beautiful and sharp photos of small subjects such as plants, animals, and insects from extremely close. The MF12 flash heads can be mounted on the included flash stands and feature adjustable heads for quick positioning. For added versatility, the flashes can be mounted directly to a lens via the included adapter rings and mounting ring that lets you mount up to six MF12 flash heads. Also included is an Extreme Close-Up Positioning Adapter with a specially designed slope structure that lets you angle the flash heads inwards toward the lens for extreme close-up photography. For on and off camera use, the flash heads require a separately purchased transmitter and are compatible with the Godox XPro, X1, X2, and other select wireless flash triggers for main brand cameras such as Nikon, Sony, Canon, FUJIFIM, Olympus, and Panasonic.

2.4 GHz Wireless Control

2.4 GHz wireless technology enables long-distance transmission, adding more flexibility to your shooting. Additionally, 5 groups with 32 channels each help to prevent interference and disturbance when several wireless systems are working close to each other.

Compact Design

The MF12 Macro Flash is optimized for close-up photography due to its compact design and unique ability to be mounted directly to a lens via the included adapter rings and mounting ring or placed around the subject with the included flash stand. Also, its size and wireless capabilities make it a good option for general photography as well.

Flexibility

Instead of illuminating forward only, each flash can rotate to a different angle and slide around the mounting ring for correct positioning. Whether fine tuning the light effect or creating another lighting style, the MF12 Macro Flash heads will help you experiment until you reach the best effect you need.

Rechargeable High-Performance Battery

The powerful built-in lithium battery supports approximately 500 full-power flashes with a 0.01 to 1.7 second recycling time. The battery is also easily rechargeable through an included USB Type-C cable.

Colour Effects and Colour Temperature Adjustment Set

Included with the 2-light kit are two MF-11C Colour Effects and two MF-11T Colour Temperature Adjustment Sets. The Colour Effects Set contains an assortment of coloured gel filters to expand your creative capabilities. Meanwhile, the Colour Temperature Adjustment Set contains an assortment of gel filters to adjust the colour temperature of the flash head. This allows you to match the colour temperature of the ambient light wherever you are shooting.

Mounting Rings

Included in the 2-Light Kit is an adapter ring kit with 8 different sizes, which match most lenses. The sizes are 49mm, 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, and 77mm.
